I am excited to announce that I'm a full service payment company. I now accept major credit cards. I have officially arrived in the 21st century :)
Seriously, how cute is this little sweetie! I don't get the opportunity to do many 3 or 9 month sessions, they are the least common ages I offer but a couple families a year opt to for my baby bundle package which is a pay as you go rewards system. When you pay in full for newborn, 3, 6 and 9 month, you get to have your cake smash session for half-off. When mom offered up the idea that she wanted a "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" theme, I was very excited to put some of my cake smash props to good use for this 3 month milestone session. He did not disappoint and sparkled all the way through his very brief 30 minutes in the studio. I just LOVE babies!!!
There is quite the baby boom in progress, the studio has been roasty toasty at a balmy 86 degrees and I am welcoming 8...yes EIGHT newborn babies in two weeks time!! Every newborn session is different and every baby is unique. This little lady was having nothing to do with being bare skin posed and was very sensitive to being touched, so we wrapped her up real tight and she was in pure bliss! She smiled for a solid minute, giving me numerous chances to get the perfect shot. This is one of the largest smiles I have ever been blessed to capture and isn't she just perfect?! Mom brought the backdrop and headband along with them by Posh Peanuts, and I was excited to have something new and colorful to use for her newborn session. I could stare at this photo all day!
Pregnant momma's, if you're in your second trimester, it's the perfect time to reserve your due date on my calendar. During school months, I take very limited amounts of newborns each week so I rarely have room for last minute clients. You can view my newborn page for package details or message me at Newarrivalsphotography@gmail.com with any questions.

I'm just so in-love with this image. How precious are these "three?" I couldn't help myself but add this adorable image to the blog. So often my maternity sessions are with brand new moms and rarely do I get the opportunity to have first, second or third children tag along for a Mommy & Me Maternity. This little lady wasn't too sure about meeting me and my camera this time around but her perfect little cherub face doesn't need to be smiling to be beautiful. She is such a doll and will soon be a big sister!
Mark your calendars for this summers mini session schedule!
The strawberry mini will take place at Tyler Barn in the Rocky River Reservation on Sunday, June 24th.
The Beach Mini will take place at Edgewater Beach in Cleveland on Wednesday, July 11th in the evening.
This is the last year for the Sunflower Field, Full and mini sessions will be offered during the dates of September 15th-23rd in Avon. These dates are still pending on the planting schedule that has not been released yet.
Mini sessions are for CURRENT CLIENTS ONLY (unless you have won a prize from an earlier contest). The reason behind this is because mini sessions are very fast paced (15 minute slots). It is too hard for me to "get to know your child/family" during that time frame and the mini experience is personal and intimate. Full sessions are available for purchase if you are interested in the mini theme but are a new client.
Time schedules and sign-ups will be announced for each mini separately a couple of weeks before it's scheduled session date. Please feel free to message me with any information and questions to Newarrivalsphotography@gmail.com
Drum roll, it's newborn baby boy season!!! Boys...boys...boys! This week alone, I have 4...FOUR newborn baby boys! It always happens like that, waves of one gender for about a month or two and then it switches. I have been doing this long enough that I'm often able to predict what a "surprise" baby will be. Unless they are on the cusp of a switch over then it's more challenging for me to guess! This sweet newborn was the perfect kick-off for my intense 7 session week ahead. He was perfectly content letting me pose him in additional poses and so relaxed. He was the best little model to calm my nerves about how busy I will be the next couple weeks. Looking at his pictures brings great pleasure that I call this my job! So many newborns to look forward to!!
You name it, I'll do it! That seems to be my motto more and more in the past year. From a mermaid on the beach, to a greasy mechanic, the themes are endless and the sky is the limit! Creating sets and bringing to life the one of kind Cake Smash sessions that parents dream up is becoming a real passion of mine. Each session is an enjoyable challenge and a way for me to grow as an artist. If you want something creative or unique for your baby's Cake Smash session, I'm your girl! But I can't take all the credit, I have a talented baker Renea's Great Cakes and Cupcakes at www.facebook.com/Reneascupcakes/ helping pave my way to greatness. She is extremely talented and dots the i's and crosses the t's to every idea I throw her way. This session was a perfect example when I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted the cake to be like but she told me she had an idea and bravo, together we made this Cake Smash session come to life!
Twins!! Oh, how I LOVE LOVE LOVE a set of twins, even more so when they are Boy/Girl twins. I was so excited to photograph these two very little sweeties. They were oh so tiny all wrapped up together and were incredibly easy to work with. I know I have said it before but the twin sessions run smoother than the single newborn sessions because they sooth and comfort each other naturally. Mom chose an earthy theme for their nursery so I hand selected natural colors and props to make their newborn session one of kind. These two were so perfect that I didn't want to disturb them. Each set-up they were so calm and peaceful it was very hard to move on to the next. They allowed me to get lots of practice and a variety of angles with each pose with much ease. Mom said she hadn't planned on having a newborn session but once they arrived she knew she MUST have one done and wow, I am sure glad she did!
Winters in Ohio are not exactly everyone's favorite time to be outside for a portrait session. I for one, actually despise this time of year but there is just something so perfect about a winter maternity session. The contrast of the snow, the willingness of the couple to snuggle closer to stay warmer, the birth of new life as spring emerges, it's enough to warm any heart. We were exceptionally lucky to get a perfectly sunny afternoon in March with tolerable temperatures but even so we wrapped up our outdoor adventure quickly and finished this maternity session in the studio. It was the first time ever that I had done outdoor and studio maternity in one combined session and I must say, I liked it! Outdoor and studio maternity offer different styles and it was really neat to have both with the same couple. I honestly cannot decided which style I prefer, they are equally beautiful as you can see for perfect images below.
